Description

Head of Capability Management. This role is accountable for capability and people management within client configuration and client project delivery. Working in a challenging, matrix organisation promoting partnership working and cultivating strong relationships with Executives and business leaders to ensure deliverables support business strategy and customer requirements. Provides leadership to software, systems and delivery professionals.

Actively
promote and develop the skills and capability within the assigned capability
group(s), ensuring knowledge sharing of products, tools and thought leadership
across the function to uplift knowledge and understanding across the Delivery
lifecycle


- Actively

- Lead the team to actively champion innovation within
their chosen skill-set and actively contribute to a culture of continual
improvement, where our teams challenge themselves to improve


- Ensure managers in reporting line or matrix reporting
line have sufficient industry knowledge to build and drive world class
capability


- Adopt standard and innovative techniques for education,
training and mentoring ensuring time allocated to personal development and
training delivers maximum return


- Understand roadmap and pipeline requirements ensuring new
and enhanced capabilities proactively available as required


- Develop comprehensive development plans and associated
investment to ensure capability is enhanced year on year and does not stagnate


- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and be accountable
for decisions relating to the capability set assigned


- Contributes to policy discussions & developments and
provides key input within specific area of accountability, with some strategic
input
