Consumer RFT Technology is accountable and responsible for the effective management and ongoing development of a number of key applications, systems and platforms within Risk, Finance & Treasury.   Managed by an extremely experienced team, all experts in their individual fields, Consumer RFT Technology is primarily data, architecture and technology focused but also benefits from an exceptionally well developed business interface and operational understanding.
What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Head of BCBS239 Technical Delivery for Consumer Credit Risk, will be accountable for running workstreams within the broader Program. Responsible for end to end delivery management, ensuring projects are interlocked and setup for success.
Overall accountability for supporting the technical delivery required to meet with Barclays Global Data Management Standard (December 2019) and BCBS239 (December 2020)
Understand the regulatory requirements for BCBS239 and GDMS, and translate these into delivery plans
Identify areas of delivery risk and proactively identify way to reduce these risk
Working in partnership with CIO leads for BI/BUK and the delivery teams in India to deliver successful plans
Where dependencies exist on the Program for delivery against regulatory requirements, manage these effectively
Accountable for monitoring and maintain the milestone plan for delivery, creating standard Project management artefacts (RAIDs, Benefits, Business Case etc.)
Identify regulations changes that would impact Barclays and work with the Chief Risk officers to plan the path to compliance.
Actively managing schedule, benefit delivery, and any deviations from the plan. 
People management skills – experience in managing resources including Barclay’s staff and 3rd party
 
What we’re looking for:
Banking experience, Technology & product management & delivery knowledge
Proven track record as a Project Manager with excellent change management skills and expertise
Experience in a financial institution with exposure to Regulatory Reporting function and Management Reporting
Experience in a financial institution with exposure to Regulatory Reporting function and Management Reporting
 
Skills that will help you in the role:
Previous experience within Finance, Treasury and Risk functions
