Description

Job Title: Senior Release Analyst
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + 14% pension, 30+ holidays, 9% bonus

About the Senior Release Analyst role


This is a new team being created and will involve supporting the development teams in ensuring the best practices and processes are followed to ensure quality released solutions go into the live environment with as little if any disruption at all. Working closely with the leadership team, you will get the chance to implement ideas to this new team, you will share responsibility for identifying areas of risk and pursuing solutions, will ensure ITIL principles are followed and in forming and using relationship to best use across the wider technology team(s) and group.

Essential Skills and Competencies:


- A fantastic understanding of the full SDLC, including release phases
- An understanding of different delivery methodologies and approaches
- Experience of configuration tools and source code management
- Understanding of ITIL practices and delivery
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
