Service Advisor

£18,000 - £24,000 a year

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Meet and greet customers upon arrival

• Undertake MOT reminder calls for planned appointments

• Undertake Service reminder calls for planned appointments

• Validate Job Cards from previous day for Marketing data and update data base

• Undertake courtesy calls 7 days after visit

• Schedule vehicles in for MOT, servicing and repairs

• Relay customer requests to garage staff

• Take customer payments

• Take transport calls (as required)

• Invoice sales work (as required)

• Deal with deliveries & returns

• Pre-Calls for next days work

• Ensure customer requests are dealt with in a timely manner

• Call Missed MOT's from past month

KEY SKILLS

• Excellent communication skills

• Good standard of computer skills

• Professional personal presentation

• Previous experience in vehicle service department advantageous

• Knowledge of vehicle parts and services advantageous

Experience:

• service advisor: 1 year (Preferred)
