Service Manager

My Wolverhampton based client have over three decades of experience and are a Market Leader in the Manufacture and Service of Crane & Hoist Equipment. They are looking for an experienced Service Manager to join their existing team. The successful candidate will be overseeing a team involved in the installation, repair, maintenance and service of a variety of lifting equipment.

You will have experience of working in the Crane and Hoist Equipment sector and will come from an Engineering background. The role will involve dealing with quotes, customer liaison, organising engineers and reporting findings to customers.

For this position, you will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and take personal responsibility for the work that you deliver. Ideally you should exhibit the following attributes:- •Be able to carry out office duties and be proficient with using computers;
•Be diligent, well presented and reliable;
•Have a full driving licence;
•Be hands on to help members of the team during busy periods;
•Be able to conduct customer visits;
•Be IT literate;
•Have strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.

Working hours are 42.5 hours per week, working from 8:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday (although some flexibility may be required).

An excellent starting salary of c£35-45k depending on experience, plus a company car/car allowance. You will be entitled to 25 days holiday, plus 8 days UK Bank Holidays.
