Margaret Hodge Recruitment, MHR, have an immediate requirement for a Site Manager on a full time and permanent basis.
This is role is due to continuous growth and expansion of my Clients business and is an exciting time to join.
In your new role you will be working for a successful Housebuilder to cover their developments in the East – Predominately Edinburgh & Fife.
This is a full time and permanent position with a variety of benefits on offer.
Reporting into the Project Manager and having direct responsibility in overseeing Assistant Site Managers your role will involve;
·Developing specific build programmes for show areas complex to meet build programmes
·Determining plant, equipment and personnel requirements
·Produce detailed sewers to enable works programme
·Ensure all site personnel comply with the Construction Health & Safety Regulations 1974 and the companies procedure manual
·Ensure site boundaries and access points
·Monitor and update master plan on a weekly basis
·Liaise with materials co-ordinator
·Monitor and oversee Subcontractors
·Plan and arrange visits by the National House Builders Council to carry out stage inspections.
This role will be East based with the works being carried out predominately in Edinburgh / Fife.
The successful candidate must come from a house building background and have a proven track record in this field.
You must be confident, enthusiastic and approachable with a willingness to learn and progress.
Ideally you will have;
·CSCS Site Management / SMSTS (Essential)
·First Aid Certified (Essential)
·Drivers Licence (Essential)
·Experience / Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation (Essential)
·NVQ Residential Construction Management (Preferred)
·Come from a Trades Background (Preferred)
