About the role

We are looking for a full stack Software Development Lead to run and contribute to a cross functional global Agile development team with a strong focus on Test Driven Development, DevOps and release automation. The role is responsible for owning, the technical delivery behind complex modelling applications in the Planning & Forecasting business within Treasury, this includes anything from back-end services to their client counterparts. Your primary responsibilities will be to own, design and develop these applications as well as coordinate with the rest of the team working on the different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product it essential.
What will you be doing?
Analysis, Design and Communication
o   Work with product owner and stakeholders to understand the functional scope of project work, questioning decisions and collaborating with end-users to ensure that business needs are met in a timely fashion.
o   Perform detailed technical and system analysis to understand full scope of the project followed up with detailed task breakdown as per the user story DoD.
o   Propose and deliver solutions to problems, considering timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing acceptance criteria.
o   Demonstrate and communicate solutions, roadmaps and development timelines to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Development & Implementation
o   Own the overall deliverable and ensure team is empowered and at peak velocity.
o   Manage and run all Agile ceremonies as a Scrum Master.
o   Manage timekeeping and workload and collaborate effectively with other team members.
o   Collaborate with Product Owner and relevant business stakeholders where requirements are not fully understood as well as provide support during SIT, QA and UAT cycles while automating testing wherever possible.
o   Be responsible for upholding established process with regards to source code management, compliance and audit controls.
o   Support RTB teams in 3rd line capacity to ensure production application in fully functional with minimal down time.
What we’re looking for:
Manage and own all different project phases, from defining technical, operational and user requirements, through to planning, quality control, testing and release automation.
Drive conceptual architecture and application design in accordance with strategic architectural roadmap.
Partner with cross-functional technology teams to integrate solutions.
Coordinate and manage delivery of offshore and global teams.
Perform test-driven development across the full software stack in relevant technologies (including diverse range of associated toolsets).
Ensure code design and quality is in line with agreed standards through code reviews and collaborating with development team.
Skills that will help you in the role:
o   A formal academic of professional qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science.
o   Clear verbal and written communication skills and ability to learn quickly
o   Significant experience as an Agile Team lead in a SCRUM environment working across the full stack with a strong focus on TDD, DevOps and automation.
o   Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, separation of concern, design patterns and SOLID principles.
o   Strong demonstrable commercial experience in .NET technology stack (C#, LINQ, EntityFramework)
o   Experience in design and architecture of RESTFul API‘s (WebApi2 etc.)
o   Recent experience with modern web technologies (AngularJs 2+, Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS)
o   Experience in TSQL/stored procedures particularly within Microsoft SQL Server 2012+.
o   Experience in line management and mentoring of other developers
o   Previous financial experience related to Capital Management (CaLM) and/or Funding and Liquidity (FLM)
o   Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other relevant Cloud Services experience
o   Scrum Master experience and/or any Agile/SCRUM qualifications
o   Business driven development experience (BDD)
