What you’ll be doing...
The role of SR Channel Partner is to develop and build VES channel sales partnerships. The role will establish and leverage partnerships, both internally and externally, to deliver incremental activation and revenue growth for Verizon Telematics in Europe and the rest of the World. This highly visible position requires high energy, professionalism, ability to effectively interact across all leadership levels, and a proven track record in B2B and channel sales.
This position will be responsible for driving strategic, solution-based sales jointly with our VZ channel partners, so it is a critical that the Channel Partner has expertise in mobility and IoT solutions. The Channel Partner must enable our VES Channel partners to further develop existing business, uncover new opportunities, develop solutions and sell MRM services. The Sr. Channel Partner will be responsible for lead generation from VES to Verizon Connect across Europe and Rest of World. They will drive improved Lead to Opportunity %’s and Closed won opportunities.
Define and drive expansion of incremental Verizon Connect Fleet sales and revenue through VZ channel partners.
Train and present in all settings including executive level performance read outs.
Establish and manage leadership level contacts with VES channel partners, become a trusted business partner in the relationship, and demonstrate a detailed understanding of the VZ Channel partners' business drivers/challenges.
Collaborate with VZT colleagues to develop creative solutions to meet specific channel requirements.
The Sr. Channel Partner will also be responsible for engaging with the WBG & VES Channel leaders and VZT direct sales teams to drive collaboration and teaming.
What we’re looking for...
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
5+ years of successful strategic solutions sales experience or channel sales.
Must be able to manage, lead, and influence others outside of their department/functional area.
Demonstrates the ability to further develop existing business and leadership level relationships, cultivate new relationships, and align with variety of business groups.
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of Fleet and MRM solutions.
Capable of identifying and qualifying opportunities; demonstrates expertise in training/ supporting others in the competency.
