We are seeking Band 5 Primary Care Nurses to work in our Immigration Removal Centre Heathrow. You will join a team who not only look after the healthcare needs of the centre residents, but who also have the opportunity to have a real impact on promoting health and wellbeing.


Come and join us on Thursday 6th June 2019 from 10.00am – 4.00pm at the Premier Inn Hotel, 15 Bath Road, Heathrow to gain valuable insight into the day-to-day running of the IRC from our current staff members, and hear about the opportunities we can offer you.

The Immigration Removal Centre at Heathrow is based across two sites (Harmondsworth and Colnbrook) It holds approximately 1000 males and a small number of females.


CNWL provide primary care, mental health services and substance misuse services and are an integral part of the wider IRC team working closely with MITIE and the Home Office.


Work within the Primary Care Team is varied and includes triaging, emergency care and treatment, health promotion, end of life/palliative care, effective care planning and liaising with the multidisciplinary team. It’s this variety that keeps things interesting and stimulating. Every day will bring new challenges and new experiences but you’ll have all the support you need to deliver the best care


Your Fast track to Employment:

We will be providing you with the opportunity to submit an application on the day and take part in assessment. Please bring ID with you on the day, including two photographic and one proof of address or one photographic and two proofs of address. Please also bring evidence of your NI number and a current DBS certificate if you have one.

These roles will be fast paced, challenging and rewarding. We are open to flexible working and would consider part time applicants. We are also looking for Staff Nurses to join our bank team.
