Are you a Chartered Civil engineer, highly familiar with steel frame construction and associated civils? Do you want to work for a family firm who are offering a fantastic working environment, the opportunity to oversee the entire design process and earn a highly competitive salary package? 

Robinsons are a family owned Construction firm, who specialise in structural steel/cladding and construction of shuttered concrete works, who focus on creating a quality service with an emphasis on customer care and high standards of workmanship.

They have recently taken the move to bring all engineering design in house and are looking for an experienced Chartered Engineer to lead this process, overseeing and signing off all design for steel frames, construction and associated Civil Engineering. As this is a new direction for them, Robinsons are open to using the software and process of choice of the successful applicant, offering a fantastic opportunity for someone to take full control and ownership of their role. 

The role can be based in either the Irvine or Lockerbie offices, so if you are local to either of these towns and struggling with a daily commute to Glasgow, this could be a fantastic opportunity have an improved work life balance and undertake a challenging and rewarding role. 

To be considered for this fantastic post you must be a Chartered Engineer, MICE or MIStructE and have strong experience undertaking design for Steel Frames. The ability to work to tight deadlines, look at creative solutions and work with an overriding customer service ethic is also essential to the position.
