Description

Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

An international manufacturer of high technology & engineering solutions are looking to recruit a SQA Engineer to deliver further improvements in Quality as a core part of their operational excellence programme.

Key Responsibilities
- + Conduct periodic supplier audits to Contractual and Capability requirements, using ISO:9001, relevant legislation and business requirements as appropriate.

+ Control of the Quality strategy for selected commodities and projects, supporting the holistic Procurement sourcing strategy.

+ Audit supplier quality capabilities in support of the Procurement supplier selection process.

+ Act as a point of contact for internally identified product quality issues which need supplier redress.

+ Input quality aspects of Procurement led supplier selection process for NPI/project activity.

Skills and knowledge required
- + QMS Audit Experience

+ Proven track record in Supplier Quality Assurance

+ Experience in Engineering, Quality & Manufacturing

+ Understanding engineering drawings and specifications
