An excellent opportunity has arisen for Support Workers to join a supported living service in Garstang on either a full time or a part time basis.

The Successful Support Worker will have the following responsibilities:

·Personal Care - assistance with washing & dressing
·Around the home - Preparing drinks and snacks, household chores
·Out in the community - Shopping, professional appointments (doctors etc.) & social and leisure activities
·Life Skills - seeking employment, building social networks, financial assistance, support with medication and road safety / help with transport

About You:

·Previous experience working in a similar role is desirable but not essential as all training needs will be provided for you
·You should have strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively and a wide range of people
·Have a strong working team ethos and ability to work on your own
·Good basic levels of reading and writing in English
·Driving licence would prove advantageous
