The Global Talent Attraction team at Dyson are responsible for planning and implementing strategic global attraction activity across each business vertical. Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition Excellence, the Global Talent Attraction Partner will provide effective partnering to Heads of Function and Talent Acquisition to influence external groups and attract them to Dyson.
Senior influencing – Using previous case studies, data, example plans and ideal outcomes to gain confidence of budget holders (Directors and ‘Heads of’) for the team to manage their global talent attraction budgets.
Understanding global landscape – Fully understand the global recruitment landscape for each business area, with emphasis on difficult-to-recruit candidates through building strong relationships with HR Business Partners for workforce plans, Talent Acquisition team for on the ground experience and Hiring Managers for strategic and possibly confidential view of annual headcount.
Budget Management – Be the guardian of the business area’s recruitment budget. Monitor closely and approve spend. Deliver all projects to budget. Prepare cases to return to budget holder for additional spend if required.
Attraction Planning – Considering all possible direct recruitment methods, plan global schedule of activity for each business area considering budget and global considerations. Activity can include but is not limited to direct advertising, attending/speaking at conferences, social media content planning, LinkedIn profile training, voxpops with Hiring Managers, global launch collaboration, overseas recruitment drives, promotional videos.
Implementing – Hands on execution of plans, and as team grows, lead Talent Attraction partners (each managing different business areas) in executing global plans to time and budget.
Reporting – Develop and provide ROI reports on all projects, and annual spend, to each business area including key measurements (CVs received, interviews, talent pooled etc). Provide evidence that longer, profile-raising activity, is on track to deliver results.
Diversity – Overlay all activity with diversity considerations. Deliver an agreed target percentage of each business area budget spend on business relevant recruitment diversity activities.
Authentic, Better, Different – through all activity communicate Dyson’s three values in a way that makes Dyson stand out amongst the competition for talent.
Global view - Delivering talent attraction activity that meets the needs across different markets considering culture and each market difference.
You will have extensive experience working in a recruitment environment, using direct methods to increase relevant applications.
Proven understanding of the theory of recruitment and basis law.
Understanding of large, global business like Dyson.
Experience of content planning and conference attendance planning
Proven experience of quickly learning a new business area and understanding their needs.
Experienced of working at speed, pragmatism and professionalism, ideally in an entrepreneurial culture.
Knowledge of diversity issues affecting a corporate company and channels of addressing these through talent attraction.
Great relationship builder.
