Salary: MPR/UPR (£27,596 - £43,348)

For a second consecutive year in 2018, the schools’ results were outstanding with 31% of all GCSE grades awarded 7-9 / A-A*, 10.5% higher than national average. Our Progress 8 score is +0.76 and ranks us as a ‘well above average school’ and placed us in the top 3% nationally.

Art & Design is a very popular subject at Copthall and the department achieves excellent GCSE and A Level results. The uptake for all disciplines within the Art & Design department are good at Key Stage 4, and they include the teaching of GCSE: Art & Design and GCSE: Art Textiles. At A-Level, students are offered the choice to study A-Level Art, Photography and Art Textiles.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and qualified professional to teach Art. The successful candidate will be expected to teach KS3 & KS4 with the potential of KS5. Applications are also welcome from colleagues who can also teach Design and Technology.

Copthall School prides itself on educating 21st century women for successful careers in STEM, human, social and health sciences, performing arts and creative industries. Our thriving Sixth Form, which is in the top 12% of schools for A Level results, offers both A-Level and Vocational pathways and we boast an excellent success rate in University applications.
