Description

A school in Halifax need a teacher of Design Technology to start in September. The school requires a teacher who can deliver resistant material / product design to KS3 and KS4 students. The role will last until October half term in the first instance, with a view to extending into the New Year.

It is essential you have experience teaching Design Technology to KS3 and KS4. You will need to be organised, innovative and have a range of good behaviour management skills to draw on the student's interests, ensuring that progress is made. You should be creative in your lesson delivery, as you will be teaching a range of ability levels.

The school is well-resourced and will provide you with opportunities to access the CPD programme, if you want to. The successful teacher will work with a team of specialists and will inspire all students to make progress. The school are open to applications from Newly-qualified teachers (NQT's) as well as experienced practitioners.

To be considered for the teacher of Design Technology position you must:

*Have experience teaching to KS3 and KS4
*Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
*Ensure that all students work their hardest to achieve the highest results
*Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification
