Technical Sales Manager
Gloucester (can be home based)
Attractive remuneration package

The opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Manager to join the team. Location is flexible as travel to client sites across the UK is required and weekly trips to head office in Gloucester.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Civils and have a good knowledge of Highways projects. Contacts within the industry would be advantageous.

As the Technical Sales Manager, you will be required to:

Identify new business opportunities and innovations through the development of key supply chain relationships.
Support the development and awareness of the brand
Build rapport with existing and potential clients and key industry bodies
Understand the industry, competitors and potential threats
Provide market information and guidance to the Senior Team resulting in commercial wins for the business
Working with an established Estimator ensure the effective coordination and delivery of tenders
Support the involvement and influence of company within industry bodies

The successful candidate will have

Experience within a technical or operational role within the highways / construction industry
Good knowledge of the Highways / Civils sector
Strong communication and rapport building skills.
Ability to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical colleagues
Strong IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft including Excel
A logical and organised approach to work
Proven ability to act with integrity and build open relationships with colleagues, competitors and clients
