Temporary Buying Administration Assistant


12 month fixed term contract


Primary Purpose:

The Buying Administration Assistant will support the team by providing administrative support and contributing to the Buying process. This will be a key role to support the Buying team drive the performance against sales and margin targets, maximising in-season opportunities and affecting future inventory. Reports to the Buyer.


The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to….


Assist the Buying team with the completion of monthly updates for, Door Profile indicators, SKU updates and investments in RPAS

Manage in season excess requests from Sales Team and Marketing

Manage change log for relevant area ensuring changes are actioned on time and accurately

Manage delivery tracking on a monthly basis, ensuring all goods are in DC on time for account pick up

Communicate and manage in season changes i.e. price changes, SKU changes, delays & shortages to Buying, Sales Team & WHS Ops

Assist in the production of Buying department reports and general admin

Create buy data for the creation of line sheets & visual tools on a seasonal basis

Provide data for the analysis of product performance, customer feedback, consumer trends, competitive landscape and local market knowledge to global merchandising/design

Increase knowledge of product, consumer and competition in local market


The accomplished individual will possess…


A fashion, business or numerical related degree is preferred but not essential

Previous internship experience in Retail, Fashion, or related field, highly preferred.

Experience working in a retail store environment, highly preferred.
