Description

Berry recruitment are looking for experienced customer service advisor to work as part of a team providing an excellent response to customers and handling queries at first point of contact.

Rate: £9.00 - £10.00 per hour

Location: Didcot

Term: 8 weeks temporary

Key Duties


- Dealing with calls from tenants and other customers on a wide range of
- issues, giving advice or taking action as appropriate
- Logging responsive repair jobs and providing telephone advice to tenants as
- appropriate
- Liaising with Technical Officers to arrange inspection appointments and to
- seek advice on complex repairs requests
- Liaising with contractors on behalf of tenants if work is not completed or
- appointments not kept
- Carrying out telephone surveys
- Carrying out administrative tasks within the team
- Occasionally covering Reception
- Covering Saturday mornings on a rota basis (approx. 1 in 8)
- Any other duties that may be reasonably required

What you will need;


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of, and commitment to, delivering focused customer services
- Experience of working in a call centre dealing with high levels of inbound calls
- The ability to take ownership of tasks and work accurately and flexibly within a busy team
- An enthusiastic and positive approach
- Experience of dealing with challenging customers
- The ability to meet call handling targets
- Good IT skills
- Ability to work accurately and flexibly as part of a busy team

It would also be nice to have;


- A qualification or professional accreditation in customer service
- Experience of working in the housing sector or a maintenance environment
