An excellent opportunity has become available for a Trainee Payroll Assistant to join our organisation.
Working within the Finance team and reporting to the Finance Director the main duties will include:
Processing of timesheets onto our payroll system
Processing of holidays
Processing of statutory payments SSP, SMP, SPP
Processing of pension deductions
Collation of invoices & timesheets on weekly basis to send out to clients
Dealing with payroll queries as they arise
Checking payroll to ensure calculations correct & accurate
Sending of payslips on weekly basis
Processing P45’s and P60’s for employees as necessary
Run weekly reports from payroll system
Complete other general administration
This is an entry level position within our Finance team and full training will be provided however experience gained within an office/finance setting will be an advantage.
You will be required to have excellent attention to detail, good time management and problem solving skills and the ability to work as part of a very busy team.
This position also has the potential to offer a Modern Apprenticeship where a Certificate in Payroll will be gained.(certain criteria applies)
