Fixed Term for 1 year

As a member of the Alternative Funding team, you will be responsible to the Training & Employment Advisor for the effective delivery of guidance, pastoral and employability support, mentoring, monitoring and tracking of participants on Skills Development Scotland national training programmes and other employability programmes, with a particular focus on the More Choices, More Chances group.

Your main duties will include providing students with appropriate and effective pre-entry guidance; ongoing support and mentoring; pre-exit guidance and job search skills.

The successful applicant must hold HNC/D or equivalent level of qualification and have experience of working with unemployed adults and More Choices, More Chances young people.  Experience of working on Skills Development Scotland programmes including Modern Apprenticeships and Employability Fund would be advantageous.
