A great opportunity has arisen within Experian’s Data Quality division in Southwark, London. It is an exciting time, as we are evolving into the Data Management space, with the launch of Aperture Data Studio. A superb user experience is a fundamental part of this, and are looking for a UX designer to work as part of cross-functional teams to help us shape our flagship platform.
You will be responsible the various UX activities of the User Centred Design (UCD) process within Agile teams, working with Product Managers, Developers and other global stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
§ Work with colleagues to help define and implement end-to-end user experiences that deliver tangible business results within a fast, iterative environment
§ Run workshops to help flesh out insights, reach agreement and document process flows. Translate research findings into wireframes, IA and interaction concepts
§ Create prototypes, mock-ups and visuals of various fidelities
§Be the ‘eyes of the customer’ and balance customers’ needs with business requirements, while considering technical constraints
§ Through socialisation, feedback and testing, iteratively improve designs and ultimately make them ready to be handed over for implementation
§ Experience as a UX Designer, creating interactive prototypes, wireframes, storyboards and mock-ups
§ Fluent in the use of prototyping tools (such as Sketch, Adobe XD or a similar), Adobe apps and InVision
§ §Ability to create UI graphics including icons, info-graphics, illustrations and graphic assets for use in our products and web properties
§ §Ability to work quickly and efficiently to gather and distil complex requirements
§ Familiar with Lean UX, design thinking and agile methodology
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment and be comfortable presenting ideas to senior stakeholders
§ Portfolio is a must – ideally showing examples from ideation, wireframing and user-testing, through to design and documentation
§ Understanding of modern UI development technologies (CSS, HTML, jQuery, APIs)
§ Has worked in a software development environment
§ Experience working software-as-a-service platforms and data-driven software
