Careers and Employability, a department within Student Futures, is looking to recruit a part-time, permanent Vacancies Co-ordinator on a job share basis to work mainly at the Parkgate Road Campus in Chester.


The role involves delivery of the vacancy sourcing programme within Careers and Employability, which requires a holistic overview of the sourcing, promoting and evaluation of all vacancies for students and graduates of the University of Chester including UniJob, internships, placements, part-time external vacancies and graduate schemes. The Vacancies Co-ordinator will manage the University’s UniJob service, a specialist element of Careers and Employability’s vacancy provision, as well as managing projects such as The Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) Awards.


We are looking to appoint an individual who has previously worked in Higher Education, with experience of promoting a service to a range of stakeholders. High level communication skills are required, as well as tact and diplomacy, along with the ability to work as a team member/co-ordinator and experience of supervising the work of others. Computer literacy is essential, along with skills in data analysis and excellent attention to detail.
