• Value Realisation Partner, based in Swindon
• £30,506 - £44,065 salary a year on a permanent, full time contract

The Value Realisation Office provides Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (PMO) services to support the achievement of our Society Strategy; enabling a clear line of sight between strategy and change delivery.

Working in partnership with the Change Squads across the Society, the Value Realisation Office and more specifically the Agile Portfolio Management Office team, has accountability for strategic investment governance, outcome-based enterprise reporting and providing honest and independent assurance of progress, challenges and impacts to the Society.

To be successful in this role we’ll need you to have demonstrable experience of working in a PMO environment with a focus on risk and controls roles within financial services, with a good working understanding of portfolio, programme and project disciplines. You will be a first-class communicator both in person and in writing, with experience of drafting top quality reports.

- Experience of working in a change environment and an appreciation of the challenges faced by change teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong personal and written communication skills
- Experience in drafting quality reports, providing insight not just information and making reasoned recommendations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management capability
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a range of work effectively and efficiently It would be advantageous if you also had:

- Experience of operating in an Enterprise Portfolio Management Office
- Excellent Excel skills to support the production of MI and reporting and enable insight
- Experience with PowerPoint to support the production of reports, governance packs and other adhoc requests for Strategic Investment related content
- Demonstrable experience of managing governance activities within Waterfall and Agile change initiatives
- Knowledge or experience of Agile frameworks such as SAFe or Scrum
- Experience of working with Project or Portfolio Management toolsets
- Experience of operating at an enterprise/organisation wide level
- Project Management, Portfolio Management, Risk Management, Agile Delivery, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent Professional qualification(s) What you'll be doing

Successful candidates would be working within our Agile Portfolio Management Office team, undertaking a range of activities to enable the safe delivery of Nationwide’s ambitious Change agenda. Some examples are:

- Working collaboratively with Change Squads and individual initiatives to educate, uplift capability, adapt and streamline processes, identify efficiencies and undertake independent assurance to improve quality of inputs/outputs
- Design, operate and improve governance processes e.g. control framework, delivery risk, issue and dependency management, driving the implementation and adoption of good/best practice
- Undertake analysis and provide insight to support understanding e.g. Change team maturity, aggregate risk position and make recommendations to improve achievement of associated outcomes
- Own/Support the operational elements contributing to a range of governance forums, including agenda management, the sourcing of content, production of MI and insight
- Production of routine and ad-hoc content, reporting and MI which engages Senior audiences on Strategic Investment themed topics
- Working with other teams/Communities across the Society on Strategic Planning and Investment related activities, capturing, evaluating and providing insight in relation to key information
