Job Title: Equities Business Analyst/Project Manager
Pre-Trade Markets Tech is made up of 1,000+ colleagues and technologists globally across UK, US, India, Czech Republic, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong.
We are responsible for designing, building, deploying, and supporting all of the technology solutions required for the Markets front office trading as well as solutions for Sales, Research, and Banking. We cover all asset classes including Credit, Equities, FX, and Rates. We partner closely with the heads of the business in order to deliver market leading platforms to meet our clients’ needs.
Our trading systems provide stable, high-performance access to markets for our most sophisticated clients, we work on pricing systems that can quickly normalize and summarize trading state across multiple markets to inform traders and algorithms, and risk systems that can calculate business risk across a broad set of international products and firm holdings. We build & deploy client analytics & research tools for Barclays web portal and mobile devices that provide the most up-to-date market monitor, stats, research publication and strategy.

The Markets Execution Technology team design, build, test, deploy, and support technology solutions for the Markets business in the Investment Bank.
What will you be doing?
This role is for a Project Manager/Business Analyst to manage the delivery of critical programmes/projects for the Cash Equities Markets Execution business (Front Office Trading) initially focused on the rollout of the strategic IOI business initiative for High touch Trading Cash Equities.
Your responsibilities include;
Project managing medium scale projects for Cash Equities, from inception through to delivery
Ensure strong governance over the projects and effective stakeholder engagement and involvement in the programme – ensure transparency on delivery, issues and decision making
Ensure comprehensive project documentation, including project plan/ milestones, business requirements, process flow diagrams and management/ project status reporting
Work closely with key Front Office, Middle Office/Operations, Compliance and Technology stakeholders to obtain comprehensive business requirements.
Write detailed business and integration requirements documents using the Confluence/Wiki based documentation approach aligned with an Agile / sprint-based development methodology.
Create detailed GUI mock-ups and other visual requirements to be presented alongside user requirements to development teams and key stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
Proven ability to influence and manage across multiple teams and regions to deliver complex projects
Ability to write high quality Business Requirement Documents and Functional Specs that are clear and concise enough for both traders and developers to follow
Ability to build strong relationships with the Front Office, Operations, Compliance and Technology
Knowledge of Cash Equities Electronic Trading FTB trade flows and processes and first hand experience working on a front-office trading platform
Skills that will help you in the role:
Knowledge of Equity Derivatives would be helpful
Experience in agile project delivery

The role will be based in 5 North Colonnade of Canary Wharf, the hub of the Front Office trading team
