Essential Duties/Responsibilities


Partner with the VP Sales International to develop an overall European sales strategy and align to each region.

Define and build the optimal sales force structure for meeting the European sales strategy and revenue targets

Lead and motivate a team of Regional Directors and Individual Contributors

Coach and mentor team members so that they perform to their full potential

Help manage key customer relationships and participate in progressing and closing strategic opportunities

Create a culture of success and ongoing business goal achievement

Maintain regular sales cadence and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions

Partner with enablement to define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives

Take a creative approach in identifying, qualifying and targeting new business and present new ideas to leadership

Become known as an employer of choice and a sales force that top sales people want to join

Partner with HR and Sales Operations to define, revise as needed and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets

Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction

Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required

Live out Cofense’ core values and expectations and ensure the International sales teams do the same

Other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required


Ability to effectively manage key customer relationships and close strategic opportunities

Ability to travel up to 40%


Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience

10 or more years of experience in leading successful software sales organizations with specific accomplishments in strategic roles directly empowering sales teams, building relationships with all levels within an organization and driving cultural change

Experience managing 10+ sales professionals

Successful experience leading teams to close large enterprise deals and multi-year contract commitments and

Experience providing status reports with market and customer feedback to executive team
