The responsibility of this position is to manage the logistics operations of one KEY ACCOUNT within the warehouse, looking after a team of around 50 warehouse staff plus temp staff as required.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the warehouse operation and managing the departments/staff to ensure they are running effectively and efficiently, giving this key client the best possible service. Responsibilities will include recruiting, coaching, mentoring and disciplining warehouse staff, looking after site documentation, promote a fun working environment, coordination of the site departments, meet client requirements and ensure a safe working environment.
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
This role is heavily involved with managing people, therefore management experience is essential. We would love to hear from you if you have logistics/warehouse experience and have managed a KEY account in the past, running the operations, coordinating staff, looking for areas of improvement and always putting the clients needs first, reporting back to them with how the operation is running.
