Job Title: Special Operations Assistant


Reports to: Special Operations Operator


Your Roles and Responsibilities – Day to day tasks can vary for the good of the business and you may be asked to carry out additional duties for the good of the business.

What are the Competencies for your role


- Unloading deliveries, mainly by forklift, receipting paperwork accurately.
- Out in the yard you would use a 3.5 tons tele truck JCB tele truck as well as a combi lift side loader occasionally.
- Picking and preparing equipment for dispatch to orders – shrink wrapping, banding and labelling correctly.
- Cleaning and carrying out minor repair works to damaged items.
- Loading trucks by forklift for deliveries, including company trucks and eternal transport companies. Collaborating with the transport team to organize loading vehicles.
- Being flexible as to when trucks are loaded/unloaded, which will sometimes mean starting early and finishing later.
- Regularly keeping warehouse and yard swept and tidy.
- Some basic fitting work required.
- Assisting with regular stock checking.
- Complying with the companies’ health and safety requirements, which includes using a lone worker tag when working at remote yard.
- Working in a team, promoting good team attitude.
- Working closely with the warehouse team to top up stocks from your yard to the other depots.
