Description

Wind Farm Supervisor needed to manage the service and maintenance activities on our clients Wind Farms in Central England and Wales.

The role covers sites primarily in the Cambridgeshire area and also near Colchester and South Wales, however the latter two areas are partially managed remotely

The primary functions of the role will be to ensure service and maintenance activities on the Wind Turbines are carried out to the highest standard and dealing with queries or issues from clients.

Our client has placed importance on leadership and motivational skills in their requirements so candidates must have previous supervisory or Line Management experience working with teams of Engineers or skilled technical staff.

Current or previous Wind Industry experience is highly desirable and as a minimum, candidates must have a demonstrable knowledge of turbine/rotating plant technology and service, maintenance and repairs of three-phase machinery.

Although there is a considerable technical aspect to the role, you will be the main point of contact between the employer and the external customer and must be able to communicate effectively and receive and resolve issues in an efficient and professional manner.

This is a permanent position and the candidate must be based approximately one hour from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The role will also involve travel to other sites in the region as part of your working week.
