Role: Workshop Manager

Location: Swindon

Industry: Automotive, Heavy vehicle

Job type: Full time, permanent position

Salary: £33k-£36k p/a

Perk Box BenefitsThis role would particularly suit a Workshop Manager looking for a new challenge in a large-scale main dealer.

You would be responsible for:

QC checks within manufacturers guidelines
Supervising the maintenance of vehicles in workshop
Health Safety
Ensure all vehicles comply with regulations
Induct new employees
Employee engagement
Develop a high performing team
Direct management of a team of 7 supervisors
Indirect management of mechanics
Carrying out regular reviews of employeesIdeally you will:

NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
Have previous experience within a truck dealership at management level
Energetic with a positive attitude and open minded
Self motivated
Strong attention to detail and process driven
Supervisory, leadership skills
Be able to react and work well under pressure
