We’re on the hunt for a creative writer with a science background


This is your opportunity to join a creative communications agency working in healthcare. Passionate about putting the patient voice in everything they do.


And they need a writer with a background in science but a conceptual approach. Someone who can translate scientific data into gripping narratives and memorable messages, for patients and healthcare professionals.

You have


2-4 years’ experience in a healthcare/creative communications agency environment

A passion for expressing humanity through storytelling, while sticking to the science

Experience of partnering an Art Director/Designer to create concepts

Examples of your creative writing to share

Confidence managing multiple projects at the same time

Excellent attention to detail, efficient and reliable

The ability to work well under pressure

Experience across channels from print to digital

An attitude infused with passion, motivation and positivity

A background in degree-level (or higher) science, preferably with a medical focus

Excellent writing skills, and experience in writing for different audiences

The ability to work independently and within a team

An understanding of the difference between straight medical writing and creative scientific communications (we’re looking for the latter…)


You will


You’ll write everything from core claims and key messaging documents to video scripts and captivating headlines:


Creative work: you will work with an Art Director or Designer and be expected to answer challenging briefs, with thoughtful and compelling concepts

Brand ownership: your chance to take ownership of designated brands


Who with


You’ll be supported by the Creative Director, Head of Copy and Managing Director. And will be expected to build good working relationships with fellow creatives and account handlers, plus other agency colleagues.
