I read old books, travel to thin places, think about meaning of life and write about all of these things. I care about people and ideas, believe in power of liberal arts, try to nurture creativity in others and myself, and strive to live a meaningful life; I blog at MariaFafardWrites.wordpress.com.

I coach people on how to find work they love. I speak to groups about meaningful work, blogging, and importance of being authentic (some of this is called thought leadership, personal branding and social media). I facilitate difficult conversations (some of them are called meetings). I prefer the language of meaningful work and being true to yourself. I do these things independently (here comes the small business language) as well as at a large company that I respect and like.
