    In my role at El Camino Hospital Foundation, I raise money to fund programs, services, and equipment across the El Camino Hospital enterprise, on its campuses in Mountain View and Los Gatos. My focus includes major gifts, planned gifts, corporate gifts, and philanthropy to support the Cancer Center, Cancer Services, Stroke Program, and Men's Health Program on both campuses. El Camino Hospital Mountain View is a 395-bed hospital located in the heart of Silicon Valley and includes a Cancer Center, Women's Hospital, Heart & Vascular Center, Behavioral Health Center - including a special ASPIRE program for adolescents, and South Asian Heart Center. Consistently ranked as one of the leading hospitals in the area, we are distinguished by our high-caliber staff and affiliated physicians, our comprehensive and innovative services, and a long history of community service. Popular Science called it "the most technologically advanced hospital in the world."

    Creating and implementing a comprehensive philanthropic program for Sutter Health/Tracy Hospital Foundation at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. My focus included: 1) Management of a $11.5 Million Foundation Endowment with over $400,000 in annual allocations to community health and wellness organizations. 2) Analysis, design, implementation of new Board Leadership Development programs. 3) Strategic planning of new major capital project campaigns of $500,000 - $850,000, initiating new engagement of past major donors and community members and leaders, thereby developing future leadership pipeline. 4) Developing new strategies and approaches to engage regional business leadership, executives, physicians, community leaders, private and foundation donors. 5) Creation of the donor outreach and engagement branding and signature event - "GALA for Life" with the "Champions of Health Awards" recognizing donors, healthcare professionals, and business leaders.

    Created a full service Regional Office to provide community education resources and increased community relations, education management, and full rounded development program. Through major gift solicitations, special events, sales management, campaign execution, planned giving, and annual campaigns, financial resources were raised to fund NF research projects to move us closer to the cure. Visual storytelling was a special tool - including new Spanish speaking video educational materials - and a corporate video production, "Jovani's Story" which I produced, directed, written, filmed, and produced original music for. The Heroes for a Cure branding was a significant tool in increasing revenues and marketing communications for the organization and the disease.

    Working with auxiliary chapters (age 65+) throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, we created provided customer service, project management, sales management, campaigns and fundraising efforts to support this great institution that combines patient care and life saving work together with state of the art medical research on the same campus in Southern California. Campaigns included major gifts, planned giving, grants - foundation and corporation, annual campaigns, special events - including a decade running Giant Square Dance attracting more than 800 participants each year. My responsibilities also included creative concept development, managing volunteers, staffing analysis, community relations, team building, increasing revenues - leading a national cause related shopping benefit campaign, "Day for Hope" along with leadership roles for the "University of Hope", "Walk for Hope Against Breast Cancer".
