    • Designed, set up and tested an optical deflection measurement system based on interferometry (including laser generator, prisms, lenses, polarizers, wave plate and photodetector) to measure nano-deflection on micro-cantilevers • Programmed and set up a Data Acquisition system (LabVIEW) to collect optical signal from interferometer, and analyzed the digital data in MATLAB and MS Excel • Built FEA model of micro tube buckling process using Abaqus and analyzed FEA result and derive relationship between applied force and deformation • Followed instructions from postdoc researchers to prepare biological samples that constantly met quality standards in a biological laboratory
