What You'll Do
You will provide technical accounting leadership and resolve accounting issues on significant non-standard transactions, implement new accounting standards (both U.S. GAAP and International Financial) and monitor existing accounting policies.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong business partnerships across finance to promote teaming and alignment in the organization, while also handling the resolution of complex accounting issues.
You will primarily work in an individual contributor capacity, influencing and leading others that do not directly report to you. You may lead projects that will involve directing the work of others for the duration of the project. You may also be involved in handling the work and output of contractors or consultants.

Cisco's Corporate Controller Group is comprised of several groups that are committed to supporting business processes with a high level of integrity and credibility. The Global Technical and Accounting Policies Group is an integral part of the group. Together we develop, influence and implement global financial policy and process. Building effective partnerships within the team and with extended business partners is paramount for success.
Who You Are
You are confident to present complex issues to senior executives succinctly and persuasively. You have consistently shown your ability to drive projects to conclusion. You are able to lead, plan and execute in a dynamic corporate environment, are a collaborator, have excellent accounting project management skills and you have the ability to keep multiple priorities moving at the same time.
You should possess at least 10+ years of Accounting experience, preferably with a mix of Corporate and Public Accounting experience. You have earned a CPA. Public Accounting (preferably Big 4 firm) experience. You also have experience with a large, well regarded multinational corporation which would be well regarded.
