Distribution Finance Analyst - Global Partner Finance
What You'll Do
As a member of the Distribution Finance team, you will be responsible for the operational effectiveness of key internal controls. You will oversee the execution of the inventory roll-forward reconciliation globally and you will also be responsible for performing various other controls in the Americas region.
Key Responsibilities include:
Support implementation of new global tool and processes for automated inventory roll-forward reconciliation
Liaison between project management team, regional governance analysts, managed services vendors and IT
Understand, summarize and follow up on variance reconciliation cases investigated by managed services support team
Drive business analytics and present findings/perspectives to the primary stakeholders (Finance, Sales and Ops leadership)
Perform User Acceptance Testing in support of system enhancements associated to governance activities
Document and deliver training to users for implementing new system and process enhancements
Work with sales, finance and operations partners to maintain up to date record of approvers for RMAs
Partner with US Distributors to identify variance reasons within their Inventory Roll-Forward reconciliation and find opportunities for internal and external process improvements
Review and Collect rebates associated to End Customer Returns (ECR) transactions
Who You'll Work With
You will provide insight and guidance around areas for improvement on governance activities across the organization. You'll be working closely across all regions and be directly engaged with the WW Controls & Processes team to support the design, testing and implementation of new processes & tools. In addition, you will directly engage and drive governance related activities for the Americas, while providing leadership on addressing and solving various issues associated with sales, shipments, inventory and returns reporting.
Who You Are
You are highly motivated, ambitious and driven financial analyst. You have strong interpersonal skills, are curious and willing to learn. You have a strong process-oriented mindset, and are able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
You encompass a wide range of finance skill sets with a focus on: governance, audits, business communications, analytics, discount analysis, and process enhancements. Effective cross functional teaming is paramount as the primary stakeholders are External Distributors, Internal Distribution Sales organization, WW and Theater Distribution Finance teams.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related Business field
5+ years’ experience in Business, Finance or Accounting
Strong Communication, Business Partnering and Governance
Business Objects, PowerPoint and Advanced Excel skills.
Able to handle large amounts of data and the ability to accurately and quickly summarize findings.
Demonstrated ability to develop, drive and improve processes.
Run multiple projects, and able to drive initiatives through various cross-functional teams
Experience supporting a sales organization is a plus.
