Description

General Purpose of the Position

The Accounting Clerk will provide support to the Accounting Department by performing daily task, providing accounting/clerical support, and other accounting duties.


Responsibilities


- Data Entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process customer payments
- Assist with loan account adjustments
- Process bank activity and reconcile bank deposits
- Code and enter vendor invoices
- Assist in packing and shipping GPS tracking units
- Prepare and maintain accounting schedules and records
- Prepare/enter general ledger entries
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the Accounting department
- Other accounting duties as may be assigned

Requirements


- 2-4 years of clerical experience in an office setting
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Word, and accounting software (Megasys a plus)
- Must be organized, accurate, and have strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
