Nature of Work
This position is responsible for the invoicing and the appropriate record keeping of payments received for external accounts receivable including depositing payments and ACH journal entries. This position routinely contacts customers regarding past due balances. Additionally, this position assists in providing billing summary reports and monthly review of the Accounts Receivable portfolio. This position processes international tax information and prepares 1042 tax forms. Also, this position assists in answering student account questions during high volume periods and assists with projects/reports as needed.
A high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years business related experience. The ability to successfully meet deadlines. Excellent computer skills with successful experience in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Excellent oral and written communication skills, work under general supervision, and work effectively in a high volume work environment.
Collections and Accounts Receivable experience. Experience working in higher education. A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. Knowledge and experience in the following systems: Campus Receivable Collector (CRC), BANNER Student Information Systems, and Peoplesoft Financials.
Salary $12.45 minimum - $15.93 midpoint (Hourly) Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Typical office environment with long periods of sitting. Able to lift 25 lbs.
