Adjunct Instructor - Sociology Fall 2019

Job Summary:
The Department of Sociology and Chicanx/ Latinx, Criminal Justice Studies, and Legal Studies minor programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, at the University of San Francisco (USF), are seeking to hire an adjunct instructor to teach an elective course, Sociology 356: “Juvenile Justice” (CRN: 41938), during Fall Semester 2019. The course meets the University's Social Science core requirements, and is currently scheduled to meet 2:40 pm - 4:25 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between August 20 and December 4, 2019.

Sociology is interested in scholars from the social sciences whose work demonstrates engagement with the fields of Criminology and/ or Legal Studies. The scholar must currently have a Master's degree in a relevant field of study and should be able to demonstrate teaching excellence. Previous experience teaching Juvenile Justice and/ or similar courses is also desirable.
