Universal Cable Productions (UCP) is looking for an Administrative Assistant to cover the desk of the VP, Current Programming. This assistant may support an additional executive in the future.
Constant daily communication between various show departments, networks, production, publicity, talent representation and internally amongst the Current team
Generates weekly department status report
Handles all calendar scheduling and phone coverage
Obtains and prepares meeting materials
Manages department interns
Maintains submission & sample logs
Maintains and manages all programming-related material
Manages expense reports and coordinates executives’ travel
Other general administrative duties including: answering telephones, copying and filing
Cover for other assistants as needed
Perform other related duties as required by management
Minimum 1 year of prior experience in television
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Photoshop
Proficiency with Mac and PC computers

Must be willing to work overtime
Administrative experience at an agency, network, studio or on television productions
Experience handling a high volume desk
Excellent phone manner, administrative and organizational skills
Strong writing and communication skills
Must be a flexible & personable self-starter
Must be detail-oriented with the ability to interface with the creative community as well as all levels of NBCU personnel
Positive work ethic and high degree of integrity and professionalism
