Check-in clients

Verify ID and scan to chart

Ensure client and interpreter signs in and out

Notify therapist when clients arrive

Assist clients and interpreters with information, faxes, forms

Process authorizations efficiently and accurately to ensure the best possible client care. Here’s a sampling of duties:

Process authorizations

Follow up on requests, authorizations and denials

Maintain accurate recordkeeping

Communicate to appropriate team members when authorizations are granted/denied

Communicate, communicate, communicate. You will be at the heart of our business interacting with clients, stakeholders, visitors and therapeutic/clinic team members. Here’s a sampling of duties:

Answer multi-line phones, check voicemail, communicate with team via Slack and email

Document all communications in client’s chart

Sending, receiving, and organizing medical records

Process faxes received

Placing calls as needed to assist in client care

Typing: 30 wpm with accuracy required, verified via pre-employment testing.

Microsoft Word skills: Required, verified via pre-employment testing.

Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint: Preferred, verified via pre-employment testing.

Other computer skills: Data entry skills required; database management skills preferred.

Time management, multi-tasking, and effective prioritization/organization skills.

Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with staff, physicians, patients and visitors using a detail oriented and courteous manner.

Excellent public relations, customer service, and diplomacy skills.

Ability to perform complex assignments independently.

Creative, innovative, flexible.

Excellent oral/written communication skills. Ability to compose, edit, and produce written materials accurately and effectively. Required editing skills include spelling, punctuation, grammar, format and structure.

1 year office experience (Preferred)
