students interesting in gaining real-life experience in print and broadcast production; 2) to provide news, information and entertainment to the campus community and 3) to provide a forum for the free expression of issues and ideas affecting the campus.

Job Duties Perform and oversee administrative functions, including preparation, verification and processing of Student Media new hires, processing student payroll, reconciling receivables. Preparing ad invoices, internal billing system, and collections. Provide some customer reception and correspondence. Track sales for commissions, provide weekly sales reports, set monthly sales goals and monitor progress. Serve as resource for historical sales data and information for sales reps. Approve credit applications for clients. Approve and monitor frequency contracts. Track and monitor expenses. Handle all inventory. Monitor and maintain budget for all areas of student media areas. Process and submit invoices, pay bills/expenses and process travel arrangements for student staff.

Provide oversight to daily business and finance operations and provide Student Media with financial information regarding use and distribution of funds. Keep records of all office financial and personnel data.

Assist Director in budget preparation, analysis and revenue projections and with the development, negotiation, review and execution of contractual agreements/grants with vendors, including all sales agreements. Correspondence with vendors, clients and university personnel.

Minimum Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
