Responsible for assisting in the daily operation of the Admissions Department, responsible for the supervision of Leads, and front line staff in the Admissions Department, and ensures cooperation with IS, Ticket Office, to ensure that the gate operates effectively each day.
Reports To: Operations Full-time
*Assure smooth and timely flow of guests at the ticket booths and ticket takers.
*Ensure implementation of all cash handling procedures to ensure compliance by every staff member.
*Ensure all training materials and training classes are completed in a timely manner.
*Assure a smooth and timely flow of guests during season pass processing.
*Ensure that the Guest Relations and Will Call processes are efficient and effective.
*Oversee department scheduling
Providing direct supervision to line employees through daily interface with the team.
Ensures proper staffing levels are maintained through proper scheduling and follow up with the supervisors and front line staff.
Work with IS to ensure that all Admissions criteria are met each day, this includes checking NLU's, notifying IS of any register problems, and ensuring that season pass and ticket taker software is performing correctly as well.
Work with Cash Control to ensure that all till handling procedures are understood and are properly performed each day by the Admissions team.
Carry out any disciplinary measures necessary to ensure that the Admissions team follows park policy and procedure each day.
Ensures that all cash handling procedures are properly trained to the staff and will follow through to ensure strict adherence to the cash handling policy. Will work with LP when cash handling and/or theft related issues arise.
Other duties as assigned by the Operations Full-Time Supervisor and the Park Operations Manager.
The ideal candidate must possess:
2 years park experience and an Admissions background is a plus, but not needed.
High School Diploma
2 or 4 year college preferred.
Must be 18yr old or older.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Proficiency in computer software is preferred. Admissions is a technology-oriented department.
Must not be afraid to handle money.
Previous experience in supervising 30 to 120 subordinates.
Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be flexible with scheduling and available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to walk and stand for up to 4 hours at a time. Applicants must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, and able to operate a motor vehicle.
