Join the NGS group as a RTL Design Engineer, and be part of engineering team working on digital design of vision processing ASIC with MPEG and CNN engine.
Key responsibilities will include micro architecture and RTL design using Verilog/System Verilog and verification. You will be involved in the ASIC development cycle, which includes participating in high-level product specifications, working closely with Algorithm and software engineers, RTL Design, pre & post silicon verification.
Your specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Work with cross-functional teams and develop micro-architecture, and design SystemVerilog RTL to meet size & timing specifications.
Work with reference modeling team to verify the design.
Apply advanced techniques to achieve verification and validation with the highest quality, productivity, and time-to-market.
Work with physical design team on the back-end flow.
Minimum BSEE or MSEE Degree with experience in ASIC development and/or FPGA prototyping:
7+ years of experience in RTL design using Verilog, SystemVerilog.
Experience with VCS, Verdi, Spyglass or equivalent tools.
Experience in partitioning, synthesis, placement, timing closure for ASICs.
Experience in MPEG, H.265, CNN and/or processor development.
Experience with Synopsys ASIP tool is plus but not essential.
Experience with lab debug, multi-team, multi-site working environment is a strong plus.
Experience with scan insertion, membist and formal verification is plus.
Experience with ASIC synthesis flows, similar to Synopsys tool flow is a plus.
Experience with Python, Perl, Tcl, C/C++ and shell scripts is a plus.
