Associate Manager (10P) – Actuarial Forecasting & Modeling-PRO000M6
This role is responsible for the modeling of Variable Annuity products for Enterprise Forecasting, as well as supporting the development of the underlying framework, models, and infrastructure.
Support quarterly forecast process
Summarize output from forecast projection models (GGY-Axis and MG-ALFA)
Prepare exhibits and analysis files for various facets of the forecast process
Provide explanations and drivers of results and answer follow-up questions
Support Off-Forecast Project Work
Various stress testing exercises including CPF, DST, and LST which could involve running of GGY-Axis models
Help with testing as additional forecast information is converted to GGY-Axis
Other opportunities will depend on current priorities
3+ years of actuarial experience
Minimum of 3 actuarial exams preferred
Experience with GAAP concepts is a strong plus
Prior experience with GGY-Axis, ALFA or other actuarial and financial modeling software is a plus
Familiarity with actuarial modeling concepts are desirable
Strong computer skills (Excel, SQL, VBA)
High level of self-motivation and ownership of results
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong awareness of value and importance of controls
