The Associate Risk Analyst is a support position in the Risk Management Department. The Analyst distributes and reviews Eligibility Verifications for in - force groups to ensure the group continues to meet the definition of a small employer as defined by their benefit contract. The priority for an Associate Risk Analyst is answering live calls coming into the general phone line and performing administrative functions related to office communications.
Conduct one life criteria audits and reconcile tax documents for group and member level eligibility
First point of contact for calls coming into the general line
Communicate regularly with RAE, inside sales, customer service, and agents in regard to case status and issues regarding the audits
Coordinates Mail, e - mail, phones, and fax distributions to team members
Interpret Group Policies, COCs, legislative and compliance regulations
Maintain reporting and tracking database for assigned groups
Ability to meet TAT and productivity goals set by management
Maintain current knowledge and understanding of HIPAA, ARRA and PHI regulations
Takes initiative to identify and resolve issues
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) or High School Diploma / GED with 2+ years of customer service experience
Experience with Microsoft Word, and the ability to create, edit, save, send documentations
Experience with Microsoft Excel, and the ability to create / edit spreadsheets and use sort / filter functions
Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, and the ability to create, edit, and present information
Heathcare industry experience
Working knowledge of the enrollment system and insurance platform
Exhibits ability to identify and resolve problems
Ability to organize and prioritize
Ability to work independently and as a team
Attention to detail
Strong Communication skills oral and written
