Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)Duties:  Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Associate in the Firm’s liquidity risk management and analysis business unit, which is responsible for identifying, quantifying, and managing the firm’s liquidity risk. Responsible for working closely with corporate treasury, controllers, operations, securities division, and broader risk organization to provide independent risk assessment and oversight of the firm’s liquidity risk taking. Engage in stress testing, including methodology development, model creation and governance, assumption review and approval and risk measurement. Responsible for regulatory stress metrics, liaison and advocacy: calculate and disclose of key regulatory stress metrics, guidance and rule interpretation, engagement with global regulators and policy advocacy. Engage in risk limit governance: set liquidity risk appetite, calibrate risk limits, sign-off on limits frameworks and ongoing monitoring of limit utilization and remediation. Perform analytics: measure, analyze and report risk measures, develop platforms and tools for risk calculation and visualization, and responsible for governance of data quality and completeness controls. Perform on-going evaluation of compliance with key regulatory regimes; new activity impact assessments and approvals, engage with key committees and governing bodies and maintain key policies and procedures. Monitor, govern and challenge various liquidity and funding execution activities, including cash and collateral management, funds transfer pricing, balance sheet usage, liquidity and funding projections and liability management. Actively engage with risk taking businesses on an ongoing basis to understand, monitor and govern liquidity risk. Directly engage with the Chief Risk Officer and global regulators regarding material risks, current risk exposures and limits governance.
 
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Math or other quantitative discipline. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Financial Services and/or Investment Banking industry experience, including exposure to financial products, (such as municipals, ETFs), and how they trade; Financial Risk management/assessment experience from a broker/dealer/market maker perspective; Financial market/financial products and quantitative modeling, risk metrics and monitoring, documentation, reporting and regulatory and governance process; managing projects and initiatives, cash, trade reconciliations, Net Asset Value and Profit & Loss reporting experience; and performing market and data analysis, coordinating working groups, forecasting and cost analysis.The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of financial services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and individuals.
