We are seeking a passionate and talented individual with an in-depth understanding and experience in T cell biology and immunology, who can contribute to the fast-moving and agile cell therapy project. This position will be developing various assays (e.g., cell-based assays, FACS, binding assays, PCR based assays) to support release and characterization as well as process development of cell therapy products in the interdisciplinary team setting. Expectations also include summarizing/presenting data, writing reports and test procedures, and making routine updates on an electronic lab notebook (ELN).
The right candidate will be an experienced researcher with a track record of scientific accomplishments. The level of the position will depend on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
PhD in the Biological Sciences such as biochemistry, chemical biology, molecular biology, cell biology or a related discipline.
3+ years of relevant experience in industry or academia with a focus on cell therapy and/or immuno-oncology. T cell biology and immunology background strongly preferred.
Extensive cell-based assay/potency assay experience.
PBMC or any T cell based assay experience is preferred.
Multicolor flow cytometry experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in molecular biology (e.g. PCR, qPCR).
Strong scientific understanding and logical thinking.
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present data, write reports and document test procedures.
Agile mindset and comfortable in a fast-moving team environment.
