SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for ensuring control systems are operating per design to meet savings, comfort, and efficiency requirements by utilizing the Commissioning Process.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical sales support
Provide technical PD&E support
Review Design Intent Documents
Identify TAB requirements
Perform System Analysis
Review contract
Review controls scope of work
Review mechanical scope of work
Review submittals
Develop Commissioning Plan for controls
Develop pre-functional checklists for controls
Develop functional performance tests for controls
Train junior level engineers on proper validation and calibration techniques
Perform pre-functional checks
Perform functional performance testing
Manage the Commissioning Process with controls contractors and departments
Review contractor validation and commissioning documents
Develop corrective action plans
Review TAB reports
Perform TAB testing
Determine specific deficiencies and present suggestions to customer or Project Manager
Develop Commissioning Reports
Complete Customer Training detailing Commissioning Results
Provide post project support
Other duties may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
·

B.S. Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 7 years related experience
·

Associates degree in a technical field with 9 years related experience
·

Or equivalent related work experience
·

Certified Energy Manager or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:
·

7-10 years relevant work experience
