AWS Cloud Engineer that can assist with the migration to cloud-based solutions as the team moves ahead with modernization of the platform. This resource will also need to be OK with maintaining and supporting a sort of legacy technology stack environment where most of there current technology is an on-premise, batch-heavy infrastructure in Linux server environment.Top Skills:1. AWSThis role will sit with the Client Group and will be based at 100 Salem Street in Smithfield, RI!The TeamCorporate Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a highly motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to work as a member of the Trade Surveillance and Supervision team. As a member of the team, you will work in a fast-paced agile development environment utilizing the newest technologies to deliver high value, quality solutions. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer on this team will be responsible for the maintenance of various surveillance models that provide transactional risk monitoring for Fidelity’s primary business, corporate compliance, and risk functions. You will need to be comfortable working with existing on-premise infrastructure and technology stack as well as assist with the migration to cloud-based solutions as the team moves ahead with modernization of the platform.The Expertise You HaveBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology field.Demonstrating fluency in at least one development language such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript etc.Experience in tools and methods to enable efficiency, performance and agility through automating DevOps processes (Maven, Jenkins, Stash).Experience in DevOps and application strategies and practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Build Automation and Test-Driven DevelopmentShell or Python programming experience, Linux/Unix batch/scripting experienceExperience in Linux environment, ability to work with the OS using system tools, scripting languages, integration frameworks, etc.Advocate for and practitioner of infrastructure-as-codeStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience of working within an Agile environmentHands on experience with containers and container management platforms such as Kubernetes(EKS, ECS, Rancher) is a plus.Hands-on experience in a public cloud like AWS/Azure and related certification (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.Hands on experience with infrastructure and application monitoring tools such as Datadog New Relic, Dynatrace is a plus.Design and implement critical business functionality within an agile development environment to help achieve goals and project completions based on CTG Trade Surveillance strategies.Working closely to all aspects of project delivery, including crafting functional specifications, technical architectures, and external interfaces.Adhering to, promoting and driving development and standard methodologies currently adopted by the distributed agile development team.Contract12 Months
