What you’ll be doing...
Would you like the challenge of keeping us at our best? You’ll help us take care of our greatest asset—our people—by helping them stay well. You'llbe using your program design and vendor management expertise to enhance our disability employee experience and time off benefits.
Serving as a subject matter expert for our disability plans, time off benefits and auto and home discount program.
Assisting with day to day vendor management. Supporting the plan design, disability strategy plan, development, and delivery of disability projects. Working with benefit vendors to manage projects and ensure alignment across key milestones and program deliverables, including all privacy, legal, security and related requirements are met. Monitoring vendor for contractual compliance and ensuringfinancial management oversight.
Implementing, analyzing and reporting on disability programs, as well as using data analytics to ensure understanding of impact and outcomes against program objectives. Monitor vendor reports and recommend plan design changes to address trends. Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, improve plan performance and encourage employee self-service.
Researching and resolving escalated and complex benefit employee issues.
Managing special projects such as: Benefit impacts resulting from acquisitions, divestitures, legislation, evaluation and selection process of new vendors during RFP process, and Annual Enrollment testing to ensure proper plan set up.
Reviewing SPDs, SBCs, benefit communications, and other plan documents to ensure that all plan provisions are communicated accurately. Assisting communication team with maintenance of applicable websites, both external and internal and post updated policies and SPDs accordingly.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of work experience in either a Human Resources corporate benefits department, disability carrier or other related industry.
Experience managing disability vendors, time off benefits, or related benefits program.
Even better if you have:
A Degree.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships as well as work collaboratively across departments and vendors.
Experience in evaluating data and trends into actionable insights that will support broader plan strategy.
Demonstrates ability to independently manage complex escalations and juggle multiple projects/competing deadlines.
Self-starter who comes to the table with out of the box ideas to improve processes.
Strong PC skills including Excel and Power Point.
